Recently, the 4th National Conference on Ship and Ocean Engineering, sponsored by Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and China Shipbuilding Engineering Society, was held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. More than 200 experts, scholars and engineers from 48 domestic research institutes attended the event. Seven difficult problems, such as difficulties in delivery, difficulty in financing, and difficulties such as large but not strong, repeated investment overcapacity, weak independent innovation capability, and weak competitiveness of high-end products were discussed.
